It’s easy to get caught up with all of the hustle and bustle this time of year. Last minute shopping for that perfect present, the kids home from school on a mini-vacation, baking hundreds of Christmas cookies, in-laws, wrapping paper.. You name it and it will cause chaos. So it’s easy to forget and overlook the important things that truly matter like our families and loved ones while we take part in the holiday festivities as well as taking time to remember what the season is really about.
So when you’re out shopping for that perfect gift, take the time to stop and remember the person, not just the gift. Spend time together, laugh, enjoy each other. Not just things. Remember your loved ones and not just as a person to mark off on your shopping list. Take time to love.
“And lo, the angel said unto them, Fear not, for behold, I bring unto you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you this day is born in the City of Bethlehem, a Savior, which is Christ the Lord. And this shall be a sign unto you; you shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes and lying in a manger. And suddenly there was with the angel, a multitude of the heavenly host, praising God, and saying, ‘Glory to God in the highest, and on Earth peace, good will toward men’ “.
Merry Christmas, everyone! And God Bless.
