Learning to Bake

I’ve been trying to keep my P52 photos grouped into one post per month to try and keep from overwhelming the blog with personal posts (since most are). But this one, I HAD to make it’s own post, it was just too special! Yesterday, me and Emma shared one of those special “mother/daughter moments” that just warm your heart. I was showing her how to bake cookies. Everyone who knows me knows that I don’t have a sweet tooth. I have 32 of them. Emma would probably have the same amount if she had that many teeth. But that’s besides the point. Being able to do this simple, every day task with her was more than just simple. It was amazing! She helped me measure the flour, pour, and even scoop the cookies to the best of her abilities. She loved every minute of it! And she seemed just like a pro! Sure, we had a huge mess to clean up but that only lasted a short time unlike the huge memory that will last forever.
