So once again I’m a little behind on my blogging. Luckily, it’s not because the world ended. Since last Saturday, we visited at a different place for Christmas clear until Christmas day and did a lot of running around then. But that’s not what slowed me down. We had a lot of bugs going around our house. Bronchitis, the cold and sinus infections, causing everyone here to be drowsy, tired, cranky and just not feeling great including on Christmas day.
Today when I woke up and looked out the window, I knew I couldn’t get my congestion and lack of oxygen get me down. The gray morning, winter haze mixed with the thick slow falling snow looked absolutely beautiful. And the fact that we hadn’t gotten around to putting the timer for the Christmas lights back to a reasonable limit, the warm glow in the snow couldn’t have been any more perfect. Unfortunately, Chris had to go in to work today, but once he left, me and Emma got bundled up and ran outside.
We did snow angles, threw snowballs (this snow was PERFECT for snow balls!) and Emma got to (help) make her very first snowman!
